Written Policy
The drug free workplace policy is the cornerstone of a company program. It’s a comprehensive document that clearly states the substances that are prohibited, notifies the employee of what types of testing he/she may undergo, identifies the employees’ rights and responsibilities, and specifies the consequences for violating the policy. For employers that fall under the regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), a DOT drug-free workplace policy is also available if needed. Written policies and our other services are available through a membership in the National Drug-Free Workplace Alliance.
